What tradeable goods do you have stashed, or plan to?

My Tesco click and collect is certainly going to look different next week … flavoured condoms, alcohol and who knows what else after reading this… think I’ll go in disguise

LOL. I don't care what the Tesco assistant thinks, but some things could be tricky to explain to the other half.

Meds. Of every verity. Antibiotics, pain killers, oral medications, IV medications, saline bags, topical creams, steroids, inhalers etc.

I didn't even know we could buy antibiotics in the UK. That's an impressive range of highly tradeable goods you have there.

Where theres a will, there’s a way! It’s saved my family’s bacon a few times. Dr’s appointments these days are often 4-6 weeks wait. Only way you can see someone sharpish is if you tell them it’s an emergency.
Foolish of me not to plan when one of us is going to be poorly!

The old "surviving in Argentina" blog which described life post financial collapse told stories of spending hours trying to track down things as simple as paracetamol or the prescription you have been advised to use. It was also clear that having your own kit meant a trip to ER might result in actually getting patched up.
Storing antibiotics may be difficult in the UK but some packs of paracetamil/ibuprofen/Calpol/antihistamines etc might go a long way if things go bad.

I'd add lots of currently trivial things which might increase quality of life dramatically: Laxatives, Savlon, Sudocrem, Thrush treatments, Clove oil and tooth filler, even cold sore lotion. Make your own list of any medication that ever made you go oooh.
