You can always send me your spam mountain, I'll trade you a double handful of .700 lead balls and a pack of heirloom chilli seeds or fishhooks per flat or a bowie/hogback seax made from a smith's rasp for three flats..... Hang on, we're not PAW bartering yet are we?

I’d probably take the heirloom seeds out of that lot! I have absolutely no clue what a Bowie/hogback seax is … :o though it could be fun to have a surprise!!

I'm impressed. T'other half has a knife or two made from old rasps so I have some idea of the work involved. Well done!

Sorry, I should of been clearer. Neither of these are my work, I lost a lot of my digital photos a couple of years ago when a hard-drive gave up the ghost and the few hard copy ones I've still got I haven't scanned in yet.

I used to help a guy make swords and such for re-enactors, one job was a live-blade Hog back seax that the customer wanted "As long as my forearm"..... My reply was "Blade or total?", the dammed thing weighed over three pounds and cut like a meat cleaver.
