SHTF?

Re: SHTF?
I've always prepped mostly for civic unrest and a lack of affordable food. Unfortunately I seem to have started too late as we're in we're having both. I'm starting to think that the only way out for us is for things to get so bad there's a revolution. I'm not sure if the powers that be will ever let it go that far though. British people are too well behaved I think for it to happen though. Short of rationing and the cities burning what would get the country to rise up in revolution?
I think the government will respond to that by sending the army in with machine guns to protect the food supply and to quell violence with brutal force.

You've started prepping now, which is better than not prepping at all! Buy a few extra items each week and you'll be surprised how quick your supplies grow. Go for opportunity buys, any items that you see which are on offer, buy one get one free etc, buy what you can afford, that saves money in the long term. Shop round, its surprising the difference in price from one supermarket to the next, money of vouchers is another way of saving money!
Regards to civil unrest, it doesn't matter which country you live in or how well behaved the people of that nation are, if pushed far enough, it can happen!
