Smiley T the book is called Reinventing collapse by Dmitry Orlov, I highly recommend this book to all preppers he presents how the infrastructure of the USSR collapsed and it's effects on society. He draws parallels to US infrastructure and how that will likely collapse. He also gives insight into what society and life is like after collapse based on his experiences and research into the collapse of the USSR, he gives insights that I haven't read or heard anywhere else and delivered with brilliant dry humour.
