I'm glad I found this site.
Here is a little about me :
I am in my early thirties and after having my daughter and a fairly bad winter not long after, I started to think: How would I have bought and fetched her milk or cold medicines or topped up the Gas and electricity meter without help from my family?, How would I cope if there was an emergency/disaster with only a few tins in the cupboard?
That's when my journey began. After much research and youtube SHTF videos etc. I found you - Hooray!
It's nice to see a UK site with sensible people becoming prepared especially in "the current economic climate".

Go to the Groups forum and you'll see some posts on the Emergency Network. There is a breakdown of areas in the UK and some volunteers who are area co-ordinators.
