Hello from Sheffield

Post by preservefreak »

Hey all,

just a quick hello from a new member and a new prepper. I am a 29 yr old trainee teacher living in Sheffield currently learning how to herd cats.....I mean teach primary children :) sorry in advance for all the know-nothing questions! I've been lurking here for a week or so and I've learnt so much already. thanks for the great website, its so packed with info I'm having to take it a section at a time :)

as my name implies I have a complete love of lots of food related homesteading crafts. cutneys, jams, homebrew, cures and preserves in general really get me excited, but its time for me to stop playing and really get serious about prepping for more than a lack of onion relish come February!

Thanks all and see you about the site!

Welcome.
I too am a trainee primary teacher (slightly older than you!) in Gloucestershire. I have been prepping seriously since the beginning of the year.
You'll learn a lot from being here and please ask any questions, even if you think they are daft. We'll just tell you its daft ;) and then answer it. (Lots of banter goes on to :D )

Evening, and welcome to our site! There's no such thing as a stupid question about prepping, so please please ask away...the questions are often a good starting point in the best/fastest/most efficient/cheapest/other way of doing something that if anything gives us *ALL* some food for thought!

P.S: Glad you like the site :)
