Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Truly the scariest, most unettling book I've ever read (and I've read a lot of horror).

Triffids. It was that book that made me realise how fragile society really is.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

I just love To Kill a Mockingbird- my sons middle name is Atticus as a result,

Omega by Stewart Farrer, and The Death of Grass, or (No Blade of Grass) are two absolute favourites that I read early and kept. NBOG was a bad, bad movie.......so bad, it was good...... ;)

I just picked out of a skip and old copy of "The Readers Digest Home Repair Manual". It is a massive book that shows you how to fix anything and everything around the house and garden from a leaking tap to a Central Heating sytem to a lawnmower.

I remember my parents having a copy of the book when I was a kid which is why it caught my eye...it really is a good book if you ever see one in a charity shop etc

2 life changing books for me are "Awakening" by Antony deMello and "Magus from Java" by Costa Danaos.
The first one puts you in a position like from the Matrix movie where you have to choose between the two pills, blue or red, awake and learn the truth or keep dreaming.
Second one is about your inner energy and life and death.

Awesome books! Loved them. The film adaptation didn't do the first one justice though...
