Would be interested if it had a much longer shelf life as a emergency supply...

Not for me I am afraid £45 would get me a lot of tinned stuff with a far longer shelf life .............or a case of MREs , some on the bay with a 2019 life

Yes, but it would also be a good and quick breakfast with a guaranteed combination of all the nutrients that your body uses. My argument would be that if you use it as part of your daily routine then you are likely to be able to buy a little more ahead of time and still use that periodically to sustain you.
One "weeks" worth could easily translate to 21 days of breakfast or breakfast for a family for about a week

Sorry Nick , I am a bit foggy this morning, but I still cant see what you mean, IE. What is the benefit over just buying whole food for the same period,

If its a convenience thing, I often have a smoothie in the morning for brekky, less than a min to make and containing mostly fresh food, and can adjust it to your needs at the time ( more carbs when weight training for instance)

And if its a "what if" thing , it still seems pricey, you could get the same thing nutritionally by getting protein powder , a multivit some dried greens etc and it would be cheaper...........

Just seems to be not worth it any way I look at it, you cant store it and forget about it as its a relatively short shelf life and there are a lot easier and cheaper ways to get the same benefits....

But horses for courses and all that :D

Its a nice idea, but with my IBS I would have uncontrollable diahorroea... You cant outrun Zombies when you are squeezing your arse cheeks together :lol:

Home made Gluten soy free Free Huel / Soylent Substitute

My impressions are... its still a good idea and can be economical either in terms of space or time or whatever depending on how you chose to live your life.
But as far as cost and content is concerned, there are a few issues. Strangely enough one could probably make ones own.

The pea and brown rice proteins and the coconut based MTC can be bought from bulkpowders.co.uk , their "pure" range

The porridge oats (I want mine gluten free), linseed and sunflower seeds can be bought from the co-op

you can select what vitamins and minerals you want to take alongside the powders from naturesbest.co.uk (which are recommended as their pills dissolve in your body within 60 minutes guaranteed)

With the help of an online nutrition checker such as cronometer.com , you can get the proportions right to give you the macro-nutrient ratios (protein, carbs, fats) that you desire and to hit your calorie target for any day and with a reasonable level of precision.

You can finely grind the oats in your high speed or bullet blender. Then you can store it in whatever ways you prefer to do your dry powdered good storage and then its up to you as to whether you use it as an ingredient in a pancake, when on the go when hiking or outdoors persuit doing..... or as a smoothie at home.
