Greetings from Yorkshire

Evening all, just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.

I've been into prepping for a while, pretty much since the whole Y2K thing reared its head. I've a large collection of US magazines on the subject but there's so little UK stuff it was great to find this forum! I've got four children so calculating storage quantities is interesting too.

We're moving to a new house in a couple of months, so I get to rethink all my storage from scratch, and will be building in extra space everywhere I can manage. DH just rolls his eyes and humours me, but I think he's a touch more interested than he lets on.

SmileyT, I'm right on the border of South Yorks/North Notts, south of Doncaster. Not a bad bit of the world to live in, although I'd rather be back in Canada where I grew up!

And yes, those vowels are elusive little buggers. Especially in Yorkshire...
