Hi all,

I found this website after stumbling on an article about BOBs and researching it further. I am an organised and well-prepared person by nature, but by no means to the extent that the people on this forum are. I've always been shocked as to how unprepared the majority of the general public are, and have recently decided that the further I can set myself apart from the herd, the better.

Initially I will just be better preparing for the inconvenient such as a car breakdown, adverse weather or a power cut. Once I have covered the more likely scenarios I will be escalating to the more serious and potentially life-threatening ones.

I thought that I would introduce myself before I start posting away with my questions and opinions. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Welcome to UK Preppers. I think that starting slowly with car preps etc. is a rather sensible thing to do. Take your time and look around(and please ask questions) and I assure you that you will save a lot of time and money.

Welcome.

Car preps are a good way to start and an easy way to acclimatise yourself to being prepared.
