Out of interest, how much would something like that cost, its very nice.

i dont know yet? around 30 hours of labour and stress went into its making... that and about £35 in materials and sundries. am yet to finish the sheath which is another 4 or 5 hours work and about £6 in materials.
That puts it in perspective, I paid £150 for my last nissan micra, it lasted me 3 years before it had to be scrapped, I recon a knife like that will be passed down through generations, doesnt make it sound expencive at all.

£200 (Price) minus £41 (Materials) divided by 34 hours equals £4.67 1/2p per hour...... Or £1.82 1/2p under the national minimum wage
and that doesnt even cover the cost of some very expensive machinery/tools and my training/skills learnt to use them... i work nearly 80 hours a week on these... i have too or I'd be going bust lol.... saying that and i love my work and try my best to keep prices as low as i can.
I have a friend who hand-knits, she was asked for a price to knit a shrug* by someone.
She told them something like 40 quid plus cost of wool (at a stupidly low hourly rate), only to be told "But I can buy one in Primark for a tenner, I thought you'd be cheaper "
Very few people value Craft nowadays
I understand how much skill and hard work is required to make crafting a knife like that seem effortless.
