Cash or credit card for hotel.
No, I am serious!
I had occasion to do it several years ago for 4 nights :(
Bugging out doesn't have to mean roughing it (and I'm too old for that anyway)

Bet she loves being married to you too!

What is the most likely scenario where you'll need to bug out? In order of likelihood...

I agree with Hobo, money for a travel lodge for example with a full wash kit, so we can bug out and stay human.

Don't forget all details needed for insurance companies (home, car, life etc), bank details, passports, and any other personal details.

Personal medication.

What do you envisage bugging out for? Do you have something in mind you're particularly prepping for?

Do you have a location in mind, does it have shelter/a building?

My reason for bugging out came completely out of the blue. You wouldn't believe me if I told you! So for me there isn't anything in particular anymore. Expect the unexpected, as they say.

I'll add to my original items:
Something warm
Something to keep me dry
A couple of flapjacks
Some water
A few days supply of my prescription meds to keep me happy ;)
