Bought myself a speed boat shell a few years back, in very good condition but without the seats etc, added a mariner 4stroke outboard and ready to when ever needed. In the process of finishing the trailer to tow behind Landy or motorhome.

Wife thought I was mad but not so mad now.......

Pure sine wave, advised that these are more efficient and must say its been operating with no problems.....yet! Although batteries had to be charged from mains last week due lack of sun but that's the UK for you. Next project is solar air heater, liked the look of them when seen on tv energy saving ...

Great piece of kit. Just finished my own backup power project and after 3power outages in a week, glad I did so. Maplin 30w solar panel kit with 30amp hr charge controller 300w inverter 2 75amp hr deep cycle batteries (in parallel) All neatly housed in a Stanley tool box with 6way switched extension...

Been reading all of the posts regarding solar power and some very informative videos on YouTube. Just talked OH into purchasing 160w solar panel, charge controller, 110ah battery x2 and an inverter Should keep me occupied for a while and like the thought being ready for when the SHTF and the grid go...
