B&M Homestore - camping surplus

Post by bettersafethansorry »

Ive been told that B&M home stores now have there summer camping gear in. I know u wont wanna trust a 9.99 tent but i will check tonight and post on here later if any bargain were to be had.

Seriously, you can get some good stuff from B+M if you look for it, dont knock it just because its B+M. Torches, gas cylinders, stoves, camping gear, silvery thermal plastic blankets, water bottles, its all there.

No camping kit in my local yet, still a bit early but should be in stock before the end of the month.

Great store for all sorts of things but stock varies from store to store and changes all the time so you need to check once a week and snap up the bargains as they may well not be there again. Some bargains to be had with tinned food but steer clear of tinned sprouts

The 'crackle' logs for 99p are good and burn for a couple of hours, the BBQ lighter fluid is in fact paraffin and will happily burn in paraffin stoves and lamps and the 1 litre bottles are a handy size (although not the cheapest way to buy paraffin)

Certainly is...

But just realised that B&M has apparently already opened on the otherside of Barnstaple in the old Focus DIY Store near County Garage.

The store opening in Roundswell (old Comet Store) is 'Home Bargains' which is another of the same sort of thing, I think??

All very confusing ;)
