That GI surplus store looks pretty good.... loads of different boxes etc...

Johnsons of Leeds is also quite good... a visit is always worthwhile for a rummage around.

I'm nowhere near Yorkshire (Coventry) but have a pile of steel container tins I'm planning to sell soon.

I'll upload photos and take measurements tomorrow. They have a hinged lid and can be made secure with a padlock. Some also have carry handles.

They were courier containers for a utility company. custom made in the uk by a large locksmiths firm.

The one pictured above I've just sold on eBay for £10, but due to the weight of it I had to charge £15 postage, so would much rather have people collect in person!

I have them in a variety of colours, most of them aren't in as pristine condition as the one pictured. Many have chipped paintwork and/or inscriptions/engravings of the site locations they used to be associated with. Some have carry handles on the lid.

Let me know your requirements and I'll be in touch. Thanks!
