Happy to be a new member of your forum. I have been a slight prepper since the covid nonsense opened my eyes to how unprepared and vulnerable I was to outside forces. I now have a month or two of food and water stored as well as some water filters and a few other tools and useful bits and bobs which would come in handy during an extended grid down situation. Nothing too serious like most of you here likely have but still probably more than 99% of the population have.
With the world looking like it is moving towards WW3 at the moment, a financial collapse seeming a possibility, all sorts of political troubles and AI hacks, things seem to be getting rather unstable of late. So I thought it could be useful to join a forum to learn more from experienced and knowledgeable people here.

Hello everybody.
Hi and Welcome from the North West
I now have a month or two of food and water stored as well as some water filters and a few other tools and useful bits and bobs which would come in handy during an extended grid down situation. Nothing too serious like most of you here likely have but still probably more than 99% of the population have. "
As the old joke has it...
"You think you can outrun a tiger?" — "I don't have to. I just have to outrun you."
With the world looking like it is moving towards WW3 at the moment....
These are, indeed, unstable times. We might not breeze through WW3, but another pandemic would be a doddle. Covid was a great rehearsal.
Graceful Degradation! Prepping's objective summed up in two words. Turning Disaster into Mild Inconvenience by the power of fore-thought

Greetings. Yes things do look like it's time to up our preps a bit. What's your next prep?
My next prep will be a change in my gardening approach. I am not sure what to do next so will need some advice on that. I will start another thread in the appropriate place for that though.
