Newbie

Post by Tackleberry »

Hi all, I'm new to the prepping life, well new to getting organised about it. I have always tried to keep some kit if needed, but now am creating my own Bug out bag and have an eye on looking for a truck as well.
I have always had air rifles and enjoy shooting, even though I don't get much chance to shoot with shift work and all, but the guns are still looked after, as an ex RAF Armourer it would be criminal if I left them to fall apart.
I'm looking to learn as much as I can and to try to sort out a bug out location in the South west, because you never know if you will need it.
I don't know what will happen in the future, but it would be nice to have a plan.

Welcome Tackleberry.
I'm a firm believer in bug-out-bags, it's only when you start putting one together you really think about what 'you' actually need for situations A through Z.
Work with family members with their BOBs and you get to know what their needs are.
It may be that you never will need the BOBs but as a thinking-planning focus they then work on a greater level for self-family-group consideration and planning.

Hope that made sense,
