Good work, I was in a city centre today and totally missed the opportunity to mooch round a pound shop!

I check the pound shops all the time. You can really find some good stuff in there from time to time, most of it is crap, but there's definately prepping value to be had.

I did buy something the other day for £1 (not from a pound shop though) which I've never seen anyone carry in the BOB videos or forum threads ... and that's laces. Some Karrimor ones. Sure most people carry parracord which can substitute as laces, but these things weigh nothing at all and take up no space.

Can't imagine the nightmore of trying to get home/bug out, with a boot flopping around on your foot due to a snapped lace.

Two for £1 or a pound each?

Either way they can be combined with aluminium powder to make a passable explosive ;)

60p each here, or 50p for the smaller ones:

Pretty sure Echelon is not even blinking a green light at that ;)

Though someone is probably keeping a count on the number of Youtube videos that have Tannerite, home-made, reactive, target, velocity in them.

If it was really interesting I would not even hint at it on a public forum, ok maybe I would hint a little... Na, changed my mind. :D :ugeek:

I am very careful to avoid key words ;)

It may be worth noting that all my posts in this thread have been tongue in cheek (accompanied by various smiles and winks), none of what I have mentioned is new to the internet and anyone looking to cause mischief will not be getting a boost from my inane ramblings. :?
