LOWA Boots

Post by Iacobus »

Hi there,

I've got a pair of Lowa Mountain GTX that I use for both work and play, however they now need resoling. I live in the Manchester area of the UK and wondered if anyone could suggest a good place to get this done. I asked at the local Timpsons shop and whilst they said they can resole them, the guy was adamant that I'd be best off having Catterpillar soles put on them rather than the original Vibram Tsavo unit, which I wasn't too keen on.

Any suggestions?

Oh! From what the guy said, it seemed that they didn't really do them but instead were offering to fudge it. I'll try one of the Timpson's in town and see if I fair any better. Cheers :)

You could try "military kit" in Manchester city centre if your local. They've repaired jackets for me in the past, might do boots to.
I also have a pair of Lowas great boots.
