Studies report that the increase of creatine levels will help delay the onset of fatigue, increase energy metabolism in the muscle cells and enhance the body's overall training capability.
Creatine works. Weight lifters know this, Professionals know this, the marketers who sell the stuff know this.
But nobody should put anything in their body without weighing the benefits and risks first. That goes for everything from beer to marshmallows to the amazing amino acid called creatine.
Creatine serves as a high energy bond in muscle and nerve tissues for maintenance of ATP levels during muscular contraction but on that same note if your not doing anything that requires serious physical endurance and I mean serious endurance like walking more than 5 miles then the nasty side effect is that it will make you FAT faster than a Bar of Chocolate. (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weight_Gain_4000 )
The power provided by Creatine monohydrate is unmatched in its ability to boost your muscles training intensity and endurance. Creatine supplementation has proven to buffer lactic acid build-up during training and enhance muscle recovery.

Creatine & Protein Suppliments
Re: Creatine & Protein Suppliments
you forgot to mention that it needs dissolving in tea temperature warm water to reduce the likelyhood that the undissolved crystals will give you indigestion or other digestive complaints. Experience suggests that it can mix badly with other forms of stomach medicine, but it does volumise the skeletal muscles nicely, but drink water by the ton to help maintain hydration when taking creatine.
I am concerned about possible negative effects on the liver. Although creatine pundits do say that its good and has a s few as zero "sides", i personally am cautious about long term usage
