Well as you posed the question what would you do if money was no object, why are you now asking about protection if tshtf? That's another discussion altogether!!

And I guess it depends on what each person thinks the shtf is. Again, another discussion!
just thought it would play in to the money no object bit.... (own apache helicopter etc lol.)

1 - Nothing would stop me being a prepper.

2 - I would naturally go bigger and buy things currently unavailable. I would increase my stores of food, buy land for farming and livestock, have an awesome BOV and anything else I can't now afford.

3 - I would build a multimillion pound underground facility (which I would call 'The Hive'), stock it with supplies and await the oncoming Zombie hordes!

You do not need to go on courses to learn how to do stuff, really you don't. You have the internet. Want to learn electronics or woodworking? Just dig around on the internet and get a few tools and components and start to play.

Seems to me you are stalling on these plans because you are not confident in yourself and rationalise the delay by blaming lack of funds. If you decide you want to do it you will do it - with or without money. Learn, build, make - it does not need to be expensive. The act of scrounging around and figuring things out for yourself is good practice for SHTF.

"the hive" asking for trouble that.... lol.

(would do same but also have a small team of dedicated (maybe brainwashed) staff to maintain and defend.

I'd buy a large nuclear bunker, fit it out as a community place, and then people could barter for a secured place in it as their Bug Out Location, skill set rather than money being the barter currency, allowing us to set up a prepper community that was ready to roll, plus the above ground are would be set out with chalets for holiday let in good times, and refuge for the needy should TSHTF, coz we can't blame the unprepared too much, they need shelter too
