Hi all.
Just joined the forum, I've had a quick browse and there are certainly some interesting idea's and topics of discussion. I am sure over time I'll cover each but to start I guess this is where I put a little bit about me....
I live with the wife and our young children in a small village in Lincolnshire. I've always been vary of changes be it events localised to us as a family or our area. I guess I'll use this forum to focalis my efforts which whilst they have been thought out they are however still in their practical infancy.
I'll start off small planning for the minor issues like power outs and fuel shortages etc
Cheers

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Fuel is definitely going to be my first job that I look at followed by sorting some sand bags out. We live next to the village beck and whilst it hasn't flooded yet it has come close a couple of times.
I then need to look at sorting out some overnight bags (Sorry not up on all the lingo yet) for the cars.
I see a lot of people have BOB but if SHTF then we would either stay put or go a few miles down the road to where I have an industrial unit. That's probably the most secure as it has only two entrances, a generator, cesspit, plenty of wood to burn, plenty of water runoff from the roof and very little nearby.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
Sounds like you have some straight thinking ideas going on already which is great. Starting small is a great plan, think about all the little things you could do, even on your drive to work!
Look forward to reading your posts!
Take care
