At last I have completed the conversion of our store shed, its fully insulated with 100mm closed foam insulation in the roof and walls, 50mm in the door and all lined with 8mm ply boards, it has mains electricity and a strip light. At the moment the outside area has halogen lighting linked with a heat/motion sensor, I have yet to alarm the area and sheds. The only thing I have to complete is the shelving and install the freezer and then we can transfer our preps and get our selves organized.

I've added lots of ASDA smart price milk and dark chocolate to my preps. 29p for 100g bars, the dark chocolate doesn't taste too bad.

You never know when you are going to NEED chocolate :-)

Envy of a shed! And envy of anyone able to keep chocolate in the house and not eat it ...

Recuperating from a virus :( so I took a 20 minute walk each of the last few days, will do the same today, and buy sandpaper, so when I'm ready to start repairing the grout in the bathroom, I've tried all sorts of things to get rid of it, sandpaper is next on the list. Its a financial prep, really - if I'm ever going to retire, I need to sell this house, or preferably rent it out.

Done some westfalia shopping and have got myself an electric food bag sealer, some food bag sealing clips, spikes for my shoes in the snow and ice and a UVC dust mite killing head for my vacuum cleaner.

Seriously, the dust mites have been a real pain in the recent humid weather and the UVC vacuum cleaner head will make killing the little darlings a lot easier and without me having to get the steam cleaner out quite so often.

First got a Draper eletric multi-tool, not much good after TSHTF but preping for it will be a great help.
Second, the wife went to the local Auctions and got 3 pairs of Binoculars for £40, one pair is a miniature pair by AOG 6x25, good little pair

Have been looking for a backup mobile, went for the samsung gt e1202, duel sim so if caught out I can put both mine and mrs munchh's sim in it, 29 day standby and 8 hours talk time, it does calls and txt, all for under £19 on the great bay.
Going straight in my EDC. ;)

We are still picking runner beans and tomatoes. Jan has made a load of passata and jarred it up. Mate of mine dropped off a load of firewood-old fence posts, pallets etc. cost me a couple of dozen eggs and bag of wild mushrooms. Just finished building a new fowl pen for the new interns in the Spring. I will not have time as the next 3 months are our busiest at work-10 and 12 hours a day 'til Christmas. The cash will be handy though.
Shooting on Monday, so I should bag some pigeons for the freezer. Not bothered about the bunnies as my own rabbits are breeding well.
Keeping an eye on what is happening in the world. Nothing new. So no lost sleep there.

I shall start our homebrew for Christmas tomorrow. Fruity Pinot Grigio for She Who Must Be Obeyed  , Lager for the kids - they will always be kids! And bitter for me. Lovely. That will save a bob or two.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.
