Hello

Post by jacob1 »

Hello,
I have recently become interested in prepping shortly after finding out about it. my curiosity and self research bought me to this forum which i have been a guest on for just about am month. Until recently I decided to make an account.
Currently I am new to prepping and because I'm still in education my parents give me money, lucky me,. Because of this I am putting away £2.50 a week to prepping supplies although i'm planning to spend £25 to kick start my list.
So far after scouring the house, I have accumulated:

4 Cups
3 Large boxes
4 Soap Bars
4 Toothbrushes
A wash bag
A flannel
200 Cotton buds
2 Large towels
3 200g storage containers
Aluminium Flask
30 Pencils
A Pair of sunglasses
Pack of 20 waterproof plasters
Lighter - Matches

In addition to this I will be investing £10 next Saturday and pop down to the 99p store to purchase:

Basic First Aid kit
Camping Mat
Emergency Shelter
Wind up Torch
14L collapsible water carrier X2
Camping Mess tin
2 Number Padlocks
Cutlery Tool (Knife, spoon, fork, all in one)
Saucepan

In addition I will be spending around £30 on additional supplies.

A rucksack
A bucket
Kingfisher Portable Stove with 2 Canisters
Battery Operated Radio with FM/AM
Water purification Tablets

Is this a suitable list of items to help kick start my prepping?

P.S I acknowledge i require food but that is going to be in a while once I've saved up money.
