Used to be, with all the new estates (garrison moved replaced with houses, and more to be built. Old football stadium now building site) there are a lot more people and cars. Fortunately I've just purchased my ticket out of here in the form of a nice big (prepper friendly) house in one of the surrounding villages.

Re: Hello from colchester
hi everyone, im from sunny clacton on sea
im new to prepping but bot to the idea, it has been at the back of my mind for as long as i can remember but thing get in the way.
i feel now is the time to not put it off any longer, it will take a while just to get my head around the basics (and the cost).
well i have to start somewhere so that somewhere is here.
