Oh, that's not what I was thinking. I was wondering if I needed them to go after others! :lol

Unless, of course, you think I'm untrustworthy and will abscond into the night with your oxygen absorbers and the life-changing amount of money that you've entrusted to me with with which to pay for them!

I didn't think you would itsybitsy, but there are no accounting for the postal system losing items, maybe not a lot of money is involved and maybe I am not involved in the group buy, but if you look at some other forums you will see that there have been problems in the past where a lot more money has been involved and stuff has gone missing and because it was paid for as a gift then problems arose.

It is a sad fact that some people abuse a trust placed in them; I have also seen a perfectly good group buy go badly wrong because the person in your position as handler of the deal had a family crisis which meant he was unable to deal with the full process of the buy and people were screaming blue murder at the charlatan who had disappeared with their goods, although very little had actually been paid out, when he finally returned he was extremely embarrassed by it all, but he had given his wife a good funeral  but no-one knew his real name, his real address and as they had paid by paypal had no recourse, they did get their stuff, it just took a bit longer.

Seriously - that's enough now. I don't see why you feel the need to get yourself involved with this. Are you just trying to flame the boards and cause upset? If you were actually making a purchase here I could possibly understand why you keep banging on about it. But you're not.

Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers - prices

Post by The-Great-Nothing »

Hi,

A lot of folk poo poo Royal Mail, but I use them for my business & have sent approx 1300 parcels over the last 2 years & zero have disappeared on the way.

I use 1st class, but I don't imagine the 2nd class service will equal more parcels lost.

Cheers

Matt

Given no prior incident on here, the fine standing of Itsy and the nature of the buy I have ZERO worry right now and don't believe anyone else should either.

Thanks again for this Itsy!

I'm glad you are all okay with it :D , but as with all prepping we need to be aware of the pitfalls that can come along :( , as long as everyone is hunky dory with it then clearly nothing can go wrong ;)

Enjoy having the security of all that stored food 8-)

No, but I'll take a kilo of powdered egg if it's in unmarked bags...
