New prepper from Glasgow area

Post by Bigal »

Hi all , newbie here , and new to prepping, well on a big scale.

My name is al 42 yr old from Glasgow.

I do a lot of motorcycle wild camping and getting into prepping

Any other bikers out there that have prepped to suit what they can carry on a bike.

Howdy! Welcome to the forum!

I love motorbikes and wild camping also :) I'm not a biker, YET! I learned to drive a car first because of University (unfortunately) Once I get a bit more money I'll be learning, I won't be riding on the back of bikes, I'll be riding ahed with my buddys!

Just out of curiosity, what do you ride? :)

PS: Not got as far as prepping for a bike but I do have a BOB for my car :)

Hey thanks for the welcome !

I ride an 1100 dragstar ( big cruiser ) , I mainly wild camp around Scotland , but during holiday times I venture into Europe.

i ride an old DR600 :o) a lot of fun but think my landrover would be my prepping vehicle even if only to carry kids.

Oooh very very nice :D My buddy rides a Honda SP1, not a touring bike but it's still a beauty. You're lucky, there is barely anywhere in the North West which is good for wild camping :| Have you ever been to the Isle of Man?

Hi from the border hills - we have a GSX1400 and son has a Hayabusa  but never thought about loading them up with stuff - that's an idea though.
