Smidge more silver arrived in the post today.

Low cost, in form of uncirculated coins, pretty happy.

Today I have had a chainsaw-fest :D and cut a shed load of firewood. I had the good fortune to land a eucalyptus tree. Hard as nails and great to burn. Took the dog a walk and got a carrier bag full of mushrooms. Bu**er the cholesterol-fry up in the morning( I will use minimal olive oil).
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Bought a couple more Coleman duel fuel lanterns from e-bay, dropped on a couple of North Star's for less than half price. Cleaned up nicely ready for testing tonight. Hoping to get another duel fuel stove as a backup, there are a couple currently on e-bay.

Bought in some Rolson LED lights for our supplies. Bought several last year and they are first class, so increased our supply load. Also bought some of their 9 LED torches (3 for £4.44 on Amazon = £1.48 ea) Bright and so much better than the old type torches. Also bought in some more bottles of water - who knows when the water will go off!

Some would argue that small retailers are dearer because they cannot buy products as cheap as other sell them, that's why we get monsters like Tesco etc, other say some small retailers take the P^&* ;) some of the corner shops around these parts sell mushrooms so shrivelled and aged looking it makes you want to call an acheologist just to see how long they've been there, and three or more times the price
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

Just got a first aid kit off ebay and seemed like a good deal so thought i would share it. Dont know how to put link up but it was under this heading.........SURVIVAL First Aid KIT Home, Car Office Workplace boat. I only paid £8.50 plus £8.00 postage, from down under. It came straight back on sale again at .99 so may be worth a look for anyone looking to buy one or a good Christmas present.........Dont all go bidding against each other lol ;)

Purchased a set of spectacle screwdrivers. They are called "precision screwdrivers" but they are the same kind that the optician uses. So I can keep my vision and the vision of any other speccy around me intact.

My first job after college was to work in an opticians and they always came in and said "I have a screw loose". It was funny the first two times, but every damned day goddammit!!

It wore on me a bit and I even found myself replying once "Then I am out to lunch"

Either way, now I am sorted.

I bought 50 lighters and some small cache pots, and another waterproof jacket that is very large and could be used as a bivvy bag. Also bought a candle making kit and next week going to get a soap making kit. Also been looking for a good starter bow online which I will buy when funds allow.

not been well so not been out and about as much as usual.

Bought a few tins and am gradually moving some of my food into the garage as it is a bit warm indoors.
