Yep, I have to put in for a variation and my firearms dept are taking the mickey on turnaround times. I'm stocking up to my legal limits so I have enough to last me until I get my licence back.Huntsman wrote:firepower wrote:Added to the supplies this week.

The food bill was about two sixty but was from a wholesaler. Buy in bulk it is much cheaper.
The wholesale bill includes other stuff like fabric conditioned, bulk toothpaste and the like because it works out a better deal and who needs bad breath at the end of the world

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
- toilet roll!
- merged my lists!
- sorted preps.
- found the website footpathmaps.com, very useful.
BTW, I went skipdiving this afternoon - I'm usually after big sheets of cardboard, to mulch where the fruit bushes are going to go, but today I saw the old grate from a fire, a cast iron thing, very rusty, and absolutely gorgeous. It would actually fit *inside* my little cast iron bbq, or sit on its own. On the principle of two-is-one, I'm happy.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Just purchased a chimney cleaning brush and rods. This gives me the ability to clean out my wood stove without relying on a chimney sweep and also to help out my neighbours if necessary. Just thinking that post SHTF wood stoves are going to get a lot more use and it might not be all that easy for contractors such as chimney sweeps to visit rural areas.
Wasn't even all that expensive. Probably will pay for itself on the first use.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Cleared my weekend of things I have to do, so I'm planning on going stealth camping and testing some kit. Mostly night vision and IR systems.
