Hong Bins is our local takeaway. And yes, with all orders over 20 euro you get a bottle of, what I can only describe as paint thinner, liquer.

(sorry, my local takeaway is in Germany) :)

Just ordered two books on pressure canning from Amazon going to do some research and give it a go :)

Finally ordered and picked up the two transparent plastic under-bed storage crates from the local Tatco - means food preps stored in the bedroom will be stored in one place, I can't be doing with one bottle here, one there, I'm rubbish at coping with that.

bought 6 tins of new potatoes from tesco 19p each...bargain bit worried about quality at that price though

I bought 10 liters of sunflower oil from tesco for 10 pound.

Just done a search on the Tesco web site for "value"

A very good range of cheap items especially Rice Pudding. I am stocking up on some cheap tinned goods and rice.
