Another Welsh Newbie

Post by ArcticCrow »

After alot of lurking thought I would sign up as a member. Based in Wales I have been storing food for a few years but only really now storing food i will actually eat and grasping whats best to store. Also keeping a small stock for the cat to survive lol.Probably got a months worth of tinned goods, but only a week of water, 2 weeks if rationed. I have an evacuation bag (not quite BOB)mostly incase of a house fire. I have zero friends who care about prepping, and my boyfriend thinks i'm mad. :? Currently scouting out the best multi tool to buy.

Welcome Aboard Arctic Crow! There's a growing number of Welshy preppers, so dependent on where in Wales you are, you may be able to make friends quickly. Especially if Cardiff, they may be closer than you think! Buahahahahaha!

I'm a big fan of the Leatherman Wave, can't beat it. However for my EDC multitool, I carry this http://www.heinnie.com/Clearance/Paul-C ... -102-7364/ £10, and the snips are unstoppable.

Hi there ArticCrow and welcome from another newbie.

For a good bombproof multi tool i recommend a Leatherman Wave,i have had mine now for 16yrs and its been used practically every single day and still going strong, its the old design which is slightly slimmer than the new but they are almost the same.Gerber do sharper blades but for functionallity it has to be the leatherman :)
