Would be great to have a review of service, quality of grain and mill at some point Ogre. I am planning to buy from them in the future so it would be good to know what you think.
Cheers... :D

Hokaay. :ugeek:

Ordered the mill in the evening. Got a response the next day to thank me for my order and say the goods had been dispatched, also a fedex consignment check number. Quick check that evening and the goods were already in Liverpool. Checked 2 days later and my number failed to work. Email from the supplier the next day to say the goods had been returned to them by the carrier as the bucket had split (don't forget I ordered 20Kg of grains as well). New consignment arrived the next day. Quite impressed with the mill, brushed steel and hardwood construction, for the price it looks the biz (no way was I spending over £200 on a mill elsewhere) Been a busy day so not had time to split the bucket of grain yet. May try tomorrow. If I do I'll let you know. But, yes. I would be happy to buy from them again.

Learnt a new knot and practiced some others. Was looking at the paracord bracelets and decided to make one. Had a some para style cord salvaged from some dump bound curtain rails and a buckle from a previous project and 20 minutes later had a useable though slightly too small bracelet. Sorted the principle though um unlikely to ever wear it. Now have four dog collars to do lol...

Bought a winter coat (waterproof, windproof, etc.) from TKMaxx for £22 (originally £66) on Friday while I was home on a family visit. It's warm and snuggly, has reflective bits on it so car drivers can see me in the dark, and most importantly LOTS OF POCKETS!

I'm off up Aldi on a recce mission later on the recommendation of my aunt who practically worships the place. I need to find somewhere reliably cheap and of OK quality. My local Sainsbury's is tiny and never has what I want. I tried Asda a couple of weeks ago and wasn't impressed by the quality. Might make a detour to Tesco on the way back, but only if I can't avoid it - my local branch is enormous and slightly freaks me out.

If I come with a good haul in my granny trolley, then that might be a good time to start a food inventory and get organised. Spreadsheets at the ready! :D
