I've just moved my family to rural Scotland from Manchester
I'd say we are moderately ready for what I hope doesn't happen but believe it will

We have an acre or so with 2 greenhouse 5 veg beds and a dozen chickens

Solar and batteries on the house and just bought a big diesel generator

Have an abundance of self defense


Next on the list is water storage and filtration
And a much better food supply
