Bought:
A Petzl E+Lite as my main head torch, my other one is now relegated as back up
A UCO Micro Candle lantern for no other reason then it takes tealights and it's smaller than my other 9 hr Candle UCO.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

had my second two hour archery session, cost five pounds but really enjoyed it. Got two swollen fingers but should toughen up after a few more goes.

Been reading up on what to do with my rosehips. Am thinking of drying and grinding them down into powder and use for my osteoarthritus instead of expensive shop-bought suppliments.
Also planning next years' food growing needs to keep me out of the fruit and veg section of the supermarket. Considered trying to grow lentils, chick peas and the like but the advice seems to say it's not worth it for the small crops I'd get. Reckon I'll just buy lots of canned and dried pulses instead.

Sorting out my camping equipment for a 10 day trip around Devon and Cornwall.
My Dad hasn't been there for over 40 years so taking him on a nostalgia trip.

Trying to think of a way to fix my hen run roof so it doesn't collapse under the weight of snow.

You could put some sort of heating mechansim on it, so that the snow melts - bit like heated wing mirrors on cars!

How about putting a slope on it and then covering with one of those slippery tarp things. Then you could sweep off the snow.(assuming the run isn't half an acre!
)

Thanks, not going until the 14th, but we'll be fine in the laavu, stove and tarp
