What Preps are you doing this week? Part 9
Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 9
Upped my tinned sardines in olive oil game.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Went out foraging. Found a few mushrooms together, all but one looked mostly eaten. Not identified it yet. Was a bit inaccessible so I just took a couple of photos. Was only looking for fungi and that was all I saw. At least I tried. I'm scared of dogs, and a big dog appeared and barked. Then it whelped and ran away!

Mackerel in tomato sauce, AKA in the Royal Navy in WW2 as 'Makerel in" I love it and sardines and pilchards . Pilcard curry or fish cakes are easy to make, great camping food and loaded with energy...tinned kippers and poached eggs are a good meal with a slab of B&B.

I used to adore pilchards in tomato sauce on toast. Sadly I can no longer eat the toast. Can anyone think of something else to act as the base for a layer of mashed pilchard?

You know the difference between a pilchard and a sardine?..... It depends of who lands it
