The shops are shut!

Post by jansman »

Bet that grabbed ya! Not sure where to put this so...

Today it appears all the Midlands Co Op stores have been shut ( including the one opposite me) because the EPOS system has crashed ( Electronic Point Of Sale), and so are totally disabled as a result. Apparently they are opening slowly in the area, but folks are standing outside staring in as if the doors will open magically! As I walked the dog past one woman was shrieking " my kids have no breakfast, I will sue them!" Well really, some people.

Just a minor hiccup, and people start ranting and ( sort of) panicking. What is that quote? '3 meals awY from Anarchy'. Hmmm.

Absolutely!

Funnily enough I have just got back from town. It was heaving with nowhere to park and drivers getting angry. Aldi car park was rammed so I aborted the errands. And that is without a panic happening.
