I purchased 3 X head torches from the 99p stores a few years back. They require 3xAA batteries and are quite big and bulky, but have lasted very well. Used them when camping and in powercuts.
Sometimes they are well worth the investment.

Re: Poundland Headtorch REVIEW
I purchased one of those some years back and it works well, then i got it wet.
Now it has multi functions on the top switch
It still works today, so not bad for the money i paid for it.
I have also got a Durastar 8 LED headtorch which has various settings for different LED combinations, this was purchased from Argos some time back when i worked on the railway.
