Hello from Lancashire

Post by bingopreps »

Hi all,

New member, and new to the idea of being a prepper! I guess like many have said before I've been doing 'prepper' type activitys for many years without calling myself a prepper.

I've considered it more a form of physical insurance against power cuts, prolonged isolation due to bad weather or {insert any number of random unexpected events here!}, combined with a HUGE love of camping and outdoors. But hey, if the cool kids are calling it prepping then so be it :D

I have a small family, military background, vast amount of bushcraft knowledge and experience and some darn fancy equipment. I come here to hopefully to offer tips and tricks about camping, tarp setups, camp fires, etc, and with more than a few questions about some of my darn fancy new equipment that i need to be able to use to justify my amazon bills to the wife!

I look forward to chatting to you all, and hope I have more to offer than just bone questions about katadyn water filters lol.

Im also intrested in the meets and camps that have been organised, not just in the lancashire area, I'll happily travel to exchange info with likeminded folk over a cold beer and a hot camp stove.

Regards bingopreps.
