That's the whole point of this thread (and for that matter bugging out). You have already stayed put for as long as it is safe to do so, and now you have no other option than to get out.....

Yeah, I have no idea where to go... I guess I'm looking for inspiration. At present then, the nearest woods are it.

Briggs, wont you have held out longer than the others in your area by using your preps? If so your route to your BOL should be less populated, except for debris and carnage.

Cromicon, dont fret too much about having a pre determined BOL. The key part is not to abandon your home prematurely and if you then avoid becoming a refugee at all costs. If you have to leave your home and preps, do so with a clear plan and that may well include more than one possible destination.

I'm quite sure we could stay at home for months but Devonian's specific scenario means we're being forced out and if it got that bad then I would expect to encounter no end of hazards out on the roads from displaced small groups of scavengers to larger organised groups. So my plan is 3) and I'll do all of the other options to avoid 6) at all costs.
I recently experienced Plymouth City centre so that's why I prep.

The situation does not say how long you were holed-up for. Maybe everyone else has died of old age waiting for your preps to run out :)

You're thinking about it and that puts you ahead of the sheeple by a long stretch. Sheeple will be waiting for someone else to help them whereas you, like the rest of us, have figured out that help isn't coming and you've got to fend for yourself. The woods wouldn't be your first choice would it? It's not ideal living outdoors once you're wet through, cold and hungry. I think from past posts you live in an end terrace in a small town...wouldn't your plan be to displace with basic portable preps and find shelter elsewhere for example in abandoned industrial buildings and office complexes.

Good point and I would normally see most preppers as being the last to leave, unless of course.......you are sat in the path of a giant Tsunami

As indicated by others, at least you are giving it some thought now and when you are out and about you may just think, oooh that would make a great BOL.....

and don't get too fixated on getting over run by evacuating hordes, most people will stay in their homes and wait for help to come(as in "the govt will save us, that's what they are there for-innit?" ), the majority will leave it to late until they realise they are on their own, sure some of the inner city scum may/will take to scavenging and looting but only in the immediate area around where they live and they will all return home after their "scouting" trips.
Adapt or Die, there is no middle ground.
