Butter/Bertolli

Post by Moorland Prepper »

We have four packs of each in the freezer which we rotate. I was considering increasing the stock a bit but OH was concerned about it not keeping too well.

Anyone any views on this please? if OH is correct are there any practical alternatives?

Thanks

I've found that butter freezes successfully for six months or so, if well wrapped.

I have bottled butter in Kilner jars.

An alternative could be ghee - can be made at home or bought in tins.
