I just got a pay rise, so I'll be upping the amount that I'm putting into my ISA / SIPP each month. My work pension contributions from me/employer will increase automatically too.

So, two days after the pay rise confirmation, we were notified that a large US organisation has launched a takeover bid for the company and the Board have agreed to it. So now, I'm in a whole other area of 'financial planning'.
