Anker 535. PRODUCT RECALL

Post by Yorkshire Andy »

know we have a few Anker fans on here

Anker
Model Anker 535 Power Bank (PowerCore 20k)
Country of Origin Hong Kong

A manufacturing flaw may have caused potential defects in some of the power banks. The negative temperature coefficient thermistors (“NTCs”) may have been misplaced during the production process. This causes the NTC to press on and damage the battery cell, which can lead to overheating of the power bank.

Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users. Owners should stop using the product immediately.

Affected products have only been sold in the UK via Amazon and the Anker website. Contact the distributor you purchased from for further information or to request a refund, or access the Anker website at: https://www.anker.com/uk.
