I guess it depends on what you wanted it for but my tesco (and sainsburys) have started stocking thin bleach tablets. At tesco you get 40 in a tub for £2 but I only notice when I go hone that they were scented. So not sure how much use I'm actually going to get out of them 🤷‍♀️

I think the Sainsburys ones are unscented. For brewing and simlar purposes I use baby sterilising tablets. The own brand ones are a lot cheaper than Milton and they are all basically bleach. The Asda ones used to have instructions for making water safe to drink - 1 tablet per 25 litres which is handy as I have a couple of 25l water jerries.

The baby bottle sterilisation tablets used to be available in Poundland too. I’ll be in there later in the week,so I’ll have a look.

For beer and wine making, I use these from tesco at 75p for 56 tablets and each tablet good for half a gallon.

That's interesting, thanks. I imagine 🙂 me tablet would do a 5 gallon brewing bucket just as well 🙂

Outstanding - in the baby aisle presumably? Still more expensive than the old 19p thin bleach but not bad :)
