Baco grill sounds good! Which shops stock it? Thanks,
The cheapy shops like B&M/Home Bargains etc do it mate, a quid a can. Its bacony spam basically, a guilty pleasure and probably full of salt and other bad stuff.
I wouldn't want to eat it all the time but aye, its braw.

Or hunters' Bacon Grill from Aldi. Popular as fishing bait. According to my stockple list I have 4 cans of the stuff, having eaten one as sampler. ALDI temp discontinued at £1.50 a can https://barbel.co.uk/forum/threads/aldi ... ill.12697/
Fry it to within an inch of its life and it could pass for something passing iytself off as a bacon substitute.

Excellent! Thanks people, I shall be adding a few tins to the store (I'll obviously have to sample some first! )
Best tried after a cold nights camping, anything warm tastes great then.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
Now have you tried a smear of marmite on bread with a slice of fried spam. Probably too much salt but very nice....
We could really do with a Homer drooling smilie on here.
