Post by Hamradioop »

I purchased one of these today at my local surplus Store

Has two detachable pouches on sides and a large internal space with internal straps and pockets. It will become part of my Car Kit. Has a shoulder strap and thigh strap. Looks like it was designed to carry the new gas mask. Brand new still in plastic Wrapping for £15.00. Bargain I think.

I like the look of that, especially for the price! Don't suppose you saw if they did it in black, or is that wishful thinking?!

I'll be heading up to my local surplus store next week so will have a nosey!

I zeroed in on one of those I saw last week at my radio intermediate course.
I was looking at packs to strap onto the back of my field pack into which I'd fit my HF and VHF/UHF radio /P kit.
This one ticks all the boxes as it is molle compatible.
I guess you did get a bargain as the guy that had the one I saw bought it from his friends surplus shop but he paid £20 for his.
