mostly garages though CC, a map place and a doggy biscuit firm and its quite a small industrial estate as they go, i dont suppose there are more than 6 units-although i havent actually stopped to count them.

I used to deliver to that estate (and still pass there every monday)....theres a few more than 6 units there these days

Mind you, i would be worried if the chavs started going for the industrial estates instead of Curries/Comet etc......because if the shtf and I needed to do a bit of "wombling" i would be down the local industrial estate too

like i say, i never stopped to count them, not sure what is there, i think at least one is empty/disused, huge stack of pallets especially in the doggie biscuit place, next time you pass give us a wave, i'm the hairy bu##er with the full beard walking the black Cairn terrier. :lol:the point i was trying to make is that the rioters seem to be going for luxury and high tech stuff, and in our town its all low tech ! more farming supplies and no designer gear.

First thing is phone my wife and get her to fill EVERYTHING with water.
Next, fill up car, if pumps are packed I know it's too late so it's shop time. Our local supermarket is MASSIVE so do my best shop I can working on nutritional/storage knowledge.
Get home! Make Dulce coffee! Turn freezer to max.
Finish coffee, make another...
Wife compiles list of food, perishable (excuse spelling) to least. At the same time all informed net! (yes, including you guys )
Squeeze in one more dulce
Closest neighbours have a quick chat, see where we are at.
Home defence and security.
Sky news and dulce.
Sit back, wait out...

Presuming i am at home with family,

1 - Assess the situation.
2 - Depending on the situation put shotgun in the car, go to my local town and buy more food. (I already have enough but the more the better)
3 - Go to the Gun shop in that town and buy some more ammo
4 - Depending on how busy the town is go to the fuel station and buy some more diesel
5 - Head home and light the fire (because the heating will be out)
6 - Get Defenses ready, light candles in house(presuming the power is out), have some thing to drink and listen to the radio(which has a crank handle)

I live in a very rural area so roads blocking is very unlikely to happen.

Ok just to extend the original question, after having read everyone's replys which are pretty impressive there does seems to be a general consensus (drinking lots of tea/coffee) and also that is that we all have a well oiled thought out IA drill, but we all seem to follow the same plan and that is too get home sort our shit out and drink some tea lol. So back to the original question extension, what is your IA if you cant get home for what ever reason for example you are 100 miles from home? Or what if your home was no longer there, or what if you got home and it had been ran sacked by the local hoodies? i can see that this thread is very popular so plz crack on with the originall question or feel free to answer the others highlited below

Well I'm out of this one as I stay in my home almost all the time and the only hoodies we have are the crow variety
