Luckily OH has been with me all the way since day 1! she is a country girl so is more used to power cuts and shortages than even i am. she has lived the off grid life, having been brought up in a cottage without mains water or electric, then when she started work she went into farming! the only problem we have is storing all the tins etc. as we have a very small house with very little in the way of storage.
