Holla, and welcome to the forum. It sounds as if you have caught the property prices right. How much land had you aquired, and to what extent do you wish to use it. Are you looking at being self sufficient or are you also preppers.

I am not sure where the line is drawn between preppers and self sufficiency, I am going down the self sufficiency route because I want to be prepared for when the current system fails, and I think that it will fail, it is just a question of time. I haven't got a store room full of food (yet) as I am not sure if long term storage of staples works and buying tons of tins seems to be buying into the system I am trying to opt out of. I would rather have a plot of land and seeds than a room full of stored tinned peas and beans.
