Also make sure your spare wheel/tyre is in good shape, and your jack and wheel-brace are present. Check tyre pressure and that all fluid levels are where they should be too. Tool kit, spare bulbs, spare fuses, spare drive belts, tow rope, de-icer, oil and extra water for the radiator are also things to consider packing. That is, if you haven't already.

You're spot on but its not just these stoves. Mixed gasses like these use tend to seperate at lower temperatures with one burning off before the other. Only way to beat it is keep em warm or take the can out occasionally and give it a good shake. The main tghibng is taht they will work, they just take a lot longer and use a lot more fuel in cold weather.Maddosammo wrote:
Hi. Can I just give you some personal experience advice about those stove, they do not always work very efficiently at anything below about three degrees. My dad bought one when I was younger just to have in the car and for if we went camping and they don't always work extremely well. This was a few years ago and they could have changed the design around but it's is most like the fuel not being able to gasify properly because the bottle is on its side.
Just a bit of my knowledge about them. Don't want you to not be able to use it is If you really needed to.
Sam
Hope your trip is going well!
