best general store for preppers

On this side of the Atlantic we use Costco a lot. It is a good source for all kinds of things like food, batteries, tools, toiletries, generators, solar and pharmaceutical needs etc.

Depends what you want:-

1. Bulk buys use a wholesaler.
2. Items that are discounted (I.e alcohol) shop around at Supermarkets.
3. Tinned goods generally Aldi / lidl, but again be alive to offers.
4. Clothing and camping gear - Amazon generally.
5. Misc items ebay.

There is no one stop shop and you would be foolish to shop at one shops as shops abuse loyalty. Shop around. Use discount website's to get details of offers. Ones I use are www.hotukdeals.com and moneysupermarket etc.

I'm boiling from my costco experience....it seems you have to be a freemason and know the right shake to belong. Grrr
Small amounts build up quite quickly from asda or the like! I would like some of the stuff but Im stumped re costco and places like that!!

Yes i know what you mean, but one way i did not know was working for our biggest landline phone company.

I checked out Cosco some time ago when a friend had a card...I found that basically if you shop around you can get things as cheap if not cheaper...great if you run a restaurant or hotel, but otherwise I would not bother..
I would check out Lidl's for basic items for storage and any number of your local 'bargain' outlets, you often find the same brands at much cheaper prices.

Thinking of setting up a prepper outlet next year depending on how events pan out in the next 6 months...you name it if it is related to prepping we hope to have it!
